⛸Last night we skated for the first time in our backyard under the light of the 🌙. Rinks are harder to create than they look! So my hats go off to those who do it year after year - though I’m sure one gets better over time learning the tricks of the trade. But now the main floor of our already busy house has turned into a home office, a classroom, a beading workshop, a sit down restaurant, a movie theatre and now a place to store our skates AND lace up 🤦🏼♀️. Oh dear!!
I created this bracelet with my neighbour in mind, who celebrated her birthday yesterday drinking champagne 🥂 on their sup’ed up porch. If this pandemic continues over to next winter we are going to have to take some notes or will have to attend their next birthday toast. 🙋🏼♀️ Happy birthday!! I name this one “neighbour” ...because she defines - with her hubs - what it means to be a neighbour - supportive, social, in the know, friendly, helpful and always inspiring! 💕

♥️Garnet: Symbolizes Love and Friendship. With associations with the heart, blood, inner fire, and life force, garnets have long been considered symbols of love and friendship. Garnets were said to protect travelers on their journeys and were often exchanged between friends as tokens that they would meet again.
