This moment on the couch 🛋 is rare with a 1 year old who is always on the go but not so much with my boy - who really could snuggle all day while watching tv. 🥰 Anywho so I snap away and write as many words as I can before the moment is over. This past week we celebrated in covid styles both my father in laws birthday (outside in their backyard and was only there for cake) and my dads (FaceTime chats as my parents are in Florida). And though we did all we could, it did make me sad. I miss my parents and in laws. My “life is too short” mantra is really being tossed out the window. Today, moving through the eb and flow of covid, I signed up for the Christmas lights experience at the Toronto airport. I’m going to keep the Christmas spirit alive the best I can even if that means just with my little bunch. I need to get more inventive as I know friends and family gathering may not be in the cards this holiday but I want my kids to know that joy and spirit are. I made this bracelet to represent family - simple, beautiful and always to be cherished and grateful for. 💖
