Since I was a little kid I have spent my winter weekends heading up north to basically eat, sleep and ski - mixing in a couple après, snowmobile rides, movie theatre nights and sleepovers with friends. And just this weekend I really got to see a different side of this beautiful town that I have grown up in. I was also lucky enough to do it with a group of amazing women who allowed me to be a tourist in my own home away from home. We went for a long hike through Pretty River Provincial Park, did a wine tasting at The Roost @theroostwineco , had some 🦪 oysters @pennysmotel then finished the night for dinner @thetremontcafe in downtown Collingwood. This morning we slowly woke up and walked into town and visited the most beautiful coffee shop @breadandbutter.cafe 🙏🏻 annnnnd I would do it allll again the exact same way…including the beautiful snowfall we all received. Winter is here ❄️There’s something special about spending 24 hours with women who you totally get along with, you’re inspired by, and you’ve known forever! Thank you @jennifercgordon , @mworboy and @shop.crowbar for time spent together. And of course I had to make bracelets to celebrate our weekend 😊I call them “Thornbury” a town I seem to fall in love with over and over again. 💕
